#BOTD 2022 – Week 1

Hi. Every year from 2013-2017, I gave myself a challenge to listen to a new band every single day (new to me, that is). Secret: I’ve never actually made it through an entire year. Fast forward what feels like at least a decade, here we are in 2022. Why not try again this year? Great idea!

The plan:

1. Check out at least one new band every single day
2. Create a playlist filled with these findings (you can follow it if you want)
3. Create a weekly post here on the AWG! (a week is M-Su, because that’s how week’s work)
4. Post to the socials, because does it even exist if it isn’t on the socials?

So, here we go. Come along for the ride…find some new favorites, or revisit some old classics. I’m already off to a delayed start in posting, but the good news is I haven’t missed a day. Place your bets, will I succeed in my quest?
