#BOTD 2022 – Week 11
Monday, March 21st, 2022
This week, I spent a lot of time illegally standing and driving laps around blocks in NYC. During which, I had a super solid soundtrack of bands with British, Australian, Canadian, and Midwestern accents. Would the New Yorker’s be made at me? Who cares. Go find something new to listen to on repeat like I am.

Week 11
03/14: Buds.
I listened to the 2021 EP, Full.. Loved. Can’t wait to hear what’s next! Favorite Track: Grit
03/15: Gold Steps
I listened to the 2018 release, Incandescent and then checked out the newer singles. It’s everything you love about pop punk – fast, catchy bops, with solid harmonies. Is that what you love about pop punk? Favorite Track: Empty Space
03/16: Semantics
I checked out the 2019 EP, If You’re Not Alright and then listened to the newer singles. Loved. Looks like they got some new music coming next week. I’ll be checking it out. You should too! Favorite Track: I could have picked any of them. I went with Talk To Me (that chorus!)
03/17: Playfight
I started with the 2021 self-title EP, and then checked out the new singles. I loved the fact that they have a super catchy lead in the opener, and then track two is fast and hard AF. Favorite Track: Home (from the EP I think I’d pick Tidal Wave or Tell Me I’m Wrong)
03/18: The Von Tramps
New music Friday. I listened to 2022 release, GO. This record keeps you wondering what’s next. As a favorite, I picked the title track…that chorus! Favorite Track: GO
03/19: Slackrr
New music Saturday? I listened to the 2022 release, A Place That Feels Like Home. Great little record! Fast, melodic bops. Well done. Favorite Track: We Are (because of the bah bah bah bah’s)
03/20: Cluttered
I checked out both 2021 EPs, Accidents and Cluttered. Raw and honest. Feels like a super fun basement show. Favorite Track: Burn All Of It
