From Canada to France, here’s the recap of 7 new (to us) bands we listened to last week (1/10 – 1/16). An answer to a question nobody asked, I listen to at least one full release (EP, Full Length) from each of the bands. For this week’s recap, I added in a little more detail on the release I checked out. I’ll try to keep doing this.

01/10: Chief State
I listened to the 2020 release, Tough Love. Favorite Track: Reprise
01/11: House Parties
I listened to the 2021 EP, Tiny Rooms. Super excited to see what’s next from this band. Favorite Track: Collateral
01/12: You Vs Yesterday
I checked out their self-titled album from 2020. Favorite Track: Fragile State of Mind
01/13: fanclubwallet
I checked out the 2021 EP, Hurt Is Boring. Favorite Track: Car Crash in G Major
01/14: Nonfiction
I listened to the 2021 release, I Painted This One Blue. It was really good. Favorite Track: What Gnaws At Me
01/15: Dream Nails
I started with the self-titled release from 2020, listened at least twice, and then listened to the rest of the discog. I angry bopped through it all. Favorite Track: Kiss My Fist (but it was really hard to pick just one)
01/16: Two Trains Left
I listened to the 2021 release As Safe As Yesterday Favorite Track: Everything Behind
