This week was either pop punk or not pop punk? Isn’t that all the weeks? Have a listen and see if you can put the bands in a better box than I can. Go find something new to listen to on repeat like I am.

12/05: Sparing
New music Monday? I listened to the new EP, No Room Left to Grow and the 2021 EP, Old Dreams. It’s early 00’s punk/screamo vibes, but more punk than screamo. Favorite Track: I Couldn’t Agree Less
12/06: Keep Your Secrets
I started with the EP from 2021, Let’s Face It, We’re Lost and then checked out the newer stuff. Catchy pop punk. What’s next? Favorite Track: trauma.
12/07: When the Sun Sets
I listened to the new 2020 full length, Transparent and the new singles. It’s pop punk. Favorite Track: Memory (one of the new ones)
12/08: Chainsaw Girl
I listened to the 2021 self-titled EP. Genre bending. I have no idea what section of a record store I’d look in to find this record, but I’d look! What’s next? Favorite Track: Late Stage
12/09: Out of Love
New(ish) music Friday! I listened to the new EP, Not Us, By Us which is an EP full of covers. Then I listened to the 2020 full length, So Far, So Good. Sounds like a super fun show. Grung(y) pop punk rock. Favorite Track: All Grown Up (from the full length); Astro Zombies (from the EP).
12/10: Social Cinema
New music Saturday? I checked out the new EP, Repeat. It’s a cool, calm and collected bop. New wave-ish, alternative dance (is that a genre)? Favorite Track: Loner (or On a Roll)
12/11: Friends Don’t Lie
New music Sunday? I listened to the new EP, Year Zero. It’s pop-punk. You’ll like it! Favorite Track: Moving Bridges
