#BOTD 2022 – Week 52

Hi. Every year from 2013-2017, I gave myself a challenge to listen to a new band every single day (new to me, that is). Secret: I’ve never actually made it through an entire year. Fast forward what feels like at least a decade, here we are in 2022. I tried again. Guess what…365 bands later…I did it. Go find something new to listen to on repeat like I am.
If this is your first time here, I’m the worst music reviewer.

New music Monday? I listened to new EP, The Sunshine Cafe. It’s indie pop-tastic with a grung(y) side. Favorite Track: Lately
12/27: Bad Year
New music Tuesday? I checked out the new EP, Faded Memories. It’s scream along punk rock. You’ll like it. Favorite Track: Blackout
12/28: cheerbleederz
New music Wednesday? I listened to the new full length, even in jest. I like their description best, diy-indie-punk-rock-whatever. Loved it. Well done. Favorite Track: nail biters
12/29: BERRIES
New music Thursday? I listened to the new full length, How We Function. If this was an award show, this would win the “most 90s vibes of the week” award. Grab your flannel, push play. Favorite Track: Spiral
12/30: Outatime!
New music Friday! I checked out the new full length, No Boundaries. It’s catchy pop punk. If you like pop punk, you’ll like this. Favorite Track: Husky Fight
12/31: A Cure For Love
New music Saturday? I listened to the new full length, Birds, Beasts, Trees, Flowers. If this was a record store, I wouldn’t know which section to put this in, so I’d make an “I like it” bin, and would put it there. Favorite Track: Bonding Over Beet Juice
